May Artist Exhibit: Chris Demarest — NIDOTO NAI YONI: “Let It Not Happen Again” As spring brings blooms and garden planting, artist Chris Demarest reminds us of a darker chapter in our history with his May exhibit at the library. Titled NIDOTO NAI YONI: “Let It Not Happen Again”, the exhibit features portraits from his World War II Portrait Tour (2011–2017), honoring women and people of color in uniform and confronting ongoing threats to civil liberties.
