7th Annual Day of Remembrance in Tacoma

Honor the Tacomans of Japanese heritage who were forcibly relocated in 1942 to the concentration camp at Tule Lake under Executive Order 9066

Educators and the public at-large are invited to spend the afternoon commemorating the 82nd anniversary of the forced removal of Japanese Americans from Tacoma on May 16th, 1942. This free event brings together art, culture, and education to showcase resources available from around the Puget Sound Area.
